As a child, I spent time on farms across Drenthe. Harvesting potatoes. The smell of the soil. The machines. And the farmer — looking up at the sky, no app, no data — knowing exactly when the moment was right.
That knowledge fascinated me then. It still does today.
But it’s disappearing. With every farmer who retires. With every generation that forgets. Quietly, day by day, the most valuable agricultural knowledge in the world is being lost.
Today, I’m putting something into the world to change that. For good.
